11.00am - WATCHING MUMMIES.. the show is about:

Journey to the royal tombs of Egypt and explore the history of ancient Egyptian society as told through the mummies of the past.
Part historic journey and part forensic adventure, Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs, follows researchers and explorers as they piece together the archaeological and genetic clues of Egyptian mummies. Through ambitious computer graphics and dramatic reconstructions, the film tells the amazing story of one of the greatest finds in modern history - the late 19th century discovery of a cache of 40 mummies, including 12 Kings of Egypt, among them the legendary Rameses the Great. In addition to increasing our understanding of culture, religion, medicine, and daily life, thousands of years ago, scientists today are reconstructing mummy DNA and deciphering ancient texts to gain insight into modern human genetics and advance medical treatments. The film features Dr. Angelique Corthals, a DNA expert and a prominent Egyptologist and mummy specialist Dr. Bob Brier, who in the ancient Egyptian tradition mummified a modern body donated to science.
To unwrap the secrets of the pharaohs is to perhaps glimpse the future of our own civilisation.

3.35pm - reached Punggol near Oasis LRT. theres a Kite Festival. bought a kite tat looks like a
dragonfly.. hehehe.. & flew it up... up .. in the sky.. theres lots of ppl who participate,
theres big, small & damn big kites .. from round the world to display n showcase their
skills in the sky. flying kites used to be my hobby during my primary school life but
now its like bringing back memories kinda time... hehehex

5.05pm - enough of flying.. so when back home n tats the end of sunday activities..
